Roya Humanitarian Foundation Implements a Project to Distribute Hundreds of Winter Blankets to Support Affected Families in the Southern Gaza Strip
Allah Almighty says:
﴿And whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 110]
Amid the severe cold wave sweeping the Gaza Strip this winter, the Roya Humanitarian Foundation announced the implementation of a project to distribute hundreds of winter blankets to affected families in camps and shelters in the southern Gaza Strip. This initiative aims to provide a minimum level of warmth and protection for children and families facing extremely difficult living conditions.
This project comes as part of a series of emergency humanitarian interventions carried out by the foundation to support the most vulnerable groups and alleviate the harsh conditions faced by the population, in accordance with the saying of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:
“Whoever relieves a believer from a hardship of this world, Allah will relieve him from a hardship of the Day of Resurrection.” (Narrated by Muslim)
The foundation affirmed that its field teams have continued their work to reach the most affected areas in the southern Gaza Strip and to ensure that aid reaches families who lack the most basic necessities of life amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.
The foundation also explained that this initiative contributes to strengthening the community’s ability to withstand the winter cold and comes as a continuation of its ongoing efforts to provide relief and support to marginalized and affected groups.
Roya Humanitarian Foundation extended its sincere thanks to all donors and charitable initiatives that contributed to the success of this project, reaffirming its commitment to continuing its humanitarian mission and providing assistance to those most in need, both inside and outside the Gaza Strip.
